Lene Strøyer won the award  "The Danish Blues Artist 2010"and is an extraordinary singer with a deep feeling for the blues. 

She delivers an energetic live performance with her groovy band 

Mama’s Blues Joint. 

Lene Strøyer formed the band in 2002, and she writes most of the band's material.

 She has received much recognition for her original blues compositions, and several songs have won awards at international songwriting contests.

Lene Strøyer has a love for the blues but writes blues songs influenced both by soul, pop & funk.

"I'm a singer / composer who grew up with music by Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Prince and Donald Fagen, so I take the intensity from blues and mix it with other genres.

Furthermore  I have a fantastic band that understands me musically both as a singer and composer, "says Lene Strøyer.

Mama's Blues Joint plays a variety of groovy songs that please the audience.

Lene Strøyer has produced the bands 4 CDs, on her own record label Mamas Records.
